This week is a podcast about a city in the US and how they were able to reach their vaccination goal so quickly – they are now in the top 10% for lowest death rate in the US.
Lincoln, Nebraska (USA) is a city of 300,000 people. In July 2021, they were able to reach the President’s goal of having a minimum of 70% vaccine uptake in their county. Due to proactive public health measures and successful vaccination campaigns, Lincoln is in the top 10% for the lowest death rates from COVID-19 in the United States.
