COVID-19 MYTH MONDAY #2!

Aanii SFN community members,

You may have heard that a drug called Invermectin, an anti-parasitic, can be used to prevent and treat COVID-19.

This is a dangerous myth that has been circulated across the internet.

Invermectin is a drug that is used to rid the body of parasites and can be extremely dangerous to consume.

Read more on why Invermectin should never be used to prevent or treat COVID-19.

However, a drug was approved by Health Canada in January called Paxlovid, an anti-viral, that is used to treat severe cases of COVID-19.
