COVID-19 VACCINATION COVERAGE IN SAUGEEN FIRST NATION COMPARED TO LOCAL, PROVINCIAL, AND FEDERAL COVERAGE ON MAY 31ST 2022.

Here is a graph that compares the COVID-19 vaccination coverage between Saugeen First Nation, Grey Bruce County, the province, and the entire country.

As you can see, our vaccination coverage is significantly lower than the comparison groups.

Ideally, we should have at least 70% of our community members fully vaccinated (two doses received) to help curb transmission in the face of future waves.

We’re currently sitting at 66%, way to go Saugeen!

If you have any questions or concerns about getting the vaccine, please reach out to the Community Health Nurses at the Health Centre or myself and we can help you make an informed decision about getting vaccinated.

Miigwetch and stay safe,
