NOVAVAX COVID-19 VACCINE SUBMITTED FOR REGULATORY APPROVAL TO HEALTH CANADA

A new COVID-19 vaccine may be coming to Canada. The Novavax COVID-19 vaccine has recently been submitted for approval by Health Canada and it’s 89-90% effective. Unlike the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines (which are mRNA-based and considered a newly developed technology), the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine is a recombinant protein-based vaccine. This type of vaccine has been used to protect against other common viruses such as Hepatitis B, HPV, Shingles, Whooping Cough, and more.
