Daily COVID Statistics for SFN community members:
As of 1 PM on July 30th, 2021: 129 cases reported to date – 4 are active – 125 are recovered (closed) – 1 are in hospital – 2 deaths (confirmed).
Saugeen First Nation “State of Emergency has been lifted” as of 12 PM July 30th, 2021.

NEW COVID-19 SAFETY COORDINATOR RECENTLY HIRED:
A new COVID-19 Safety Coordinator has been hired on a 3-6 month contract to assist the administration/community with coordination of all SFN COVID-19 processes currently in operation. Her name is Tara Campbell. Tara can be reached at tara.campbell@saugeen.org.
THE JAMES MASON RECREATION CENTRE ISOLATION CENTRE HAS BEEN CLOSED:
Although the isolation centre located at the Recreation Centre has been closed – it will not be dismantled until we have 14 days of zero community COVID cases.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Incentives for a large grand prize, along with smaller prizes, will be made available to all double-vaccinated SFN community members.
Finally, please stay home, travel only unless it’s necessary, avoid group gatherings outside your home, and strictly observe the following pandemic protocols:
- Wear a mask outside your home.
- Wash your hands frequently.
- Watch your distance and remain at least 2 meters from people you don’t live with.
